Centre-State Talks Boost Industrial Development and Energy Security in Chhattisgarh

Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines Shri Satish Chandra Dubey on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at his office in Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan. The meeting included detailed discussions on industrial development, energy security, expansion of the mining sector and infrastructure development in Chhattisgarh.
Discussions were held on increasing coal production in the state, strengthening infrastructure in mining areas, expanding rail and logistics connectivity, and accelerating industrial activities. The meeting also focused on promoting clean energy, coal gasification, solar energy development, and creating new opportunities for investment and employment through better utilisation of mineral resources.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said Chhattisgarh is rich in natural resources and, with support from the Central Government, the state is rapidly moving towards new opportunities in the fields of energy, mining and industrial development. He said the state government is committed to creating an investment-friendly environment, increasing employment opportunities for youth and accelerating regional development.
Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation Shri Rajat Bansal, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) Shri Harish Duhan, and other senior officials were present at the meeting.
